I think so, I didn’t know it was going to delete the photos off the SD card since it wouldn’t read the SD card when I put it in the adapter
Unfortunately, It is impossible to recover a formatted SD card

Even if it shows up on my computer now, with my camera name? It’s saying there’s a dsc file
When you format an SD card, you delete all files stored on it, including your photos. That said, the deleted photos will physically remain on the SD card until they are overwritten by new data, giving you a chance to recover them using special SD card recovery software

Okay so how would you get it back? I have a Chromebook but it won’t download the software. What are my options? Do I need to go somewhere special or can I do it myself?
I would look in the direction of Linux tools if your chromebook supports linux.
