I keep getting a black box labelled Dark Web Incident that blocks my screen on my Chromebook

It says to change my passwords, which I think I have done. How to get rid of it please?

Short summary:

  1. Check if you have any antivirus software installed on your Acer Chromebook CP311-3H series computer. You can do this by clicking on the circle icon in the corner of your screen, then clicking on the up arrow to open the list of all apps. Look for any antivirus software in the list.
  2. If you haven't installed any new programs recently and don't have an antivirus software installed, try restarting your computer to see if the problem goes away.
  3. If the problem persists, do a browser refresh. To do this, open the Chrome browser and go to Chrome Settings -> Advanced.
  4. Scroll down to the "Reset and clean up" section and click on "Restore settings to their original defaults."
  5. A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm the reset. Click on the blue "Reset settings" button.
  6. Wait for the browser to reset, which may take a few minutes. Once the process is complete, restart your computer and see if the problem is resolved.
