I require the options of paper type-_ various gloss an matte, etc, the ability to select print quality type, and edge to edge printing as provided by the old print driver from my previous PC

There are more print quality options in the Advanced mode of the driver and some of them are named differently. The driver will automatically select a quality option supported by the paper type that you select, depending on its specifications.
To enter the Advanced mode of the driver, do the following:

1. Open Printing Preferences and make sure the driver dialog box is open on the Main tab.
2. Click on the Advanced tab or button.
