My touchpad on my computer has randomly become unresponsive

Search for and select Device Manager it won’t let me right click the mice and other pointing devices

i can’t see the mouse on the screen when i’m on the driver option
there is no where for me to select properties
it’s my touchpad that won’t work so i can’t see a mouse on my screen

Select View, then Show Hidden Devices it says my driver is updated
ok. Please check if touchpad works in a Safe Mode

Press Windows logo key + X on the keyboard.
Hold the Shift key while clicking Restart from Shut down or sign out menu.
Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings >Restart.
After the PC restarts, a list of options will be shown. Select 4 or F4 or Fn+F4 to start the PC in Safe Mode. If using the Internet, select 5 or F5 or Fn+F5 for Safe Mode with Networking.
