My HP printer stopped working

Please, make sure all the plastics and cardboards are removed from inside the printer.
Check if the print carriage is moving freely.
It does not respond to a scan request.

It doesn't scan, print or respond when I try to turn it off.
Reinsert the ink cartridges.
I can't get the cartridge to move to the center. It doesn't respond.

Try to reset the printer byfollowing the steps below:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the power source.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
