Yes, they are now moved across to the right and I cannot reach them

Okay can you turn the printer off for 60 seconds and back on? From the wall outlet completely.

i have completed the installation as per the cd but iti did not print a nozzle check and the teardrop shaped light on the right is still shining. The machine is powered on and the wifi indicator is on. i dont know what to do now.

Please try these steps
1. Load a few sheets of plain paper in the sheet feeder.
2. Press OK to open the menu screen.
3. Select Setup, select Maintenance, then select Nozzle Check.
4. Press OK to print a nozzle check pattern.

yes but there is no display screen for messages

The machine has now printed a document from my laptop which appears to be fine. it took ages but hopefully all is well now. I have no idea how it reached this point but am thankful it did.
