I am unable to do a recommended factory reset on my Galaxy Z Flip4 256

I've already created an account here but it keeps wanting me to create another account. If am able to navigate to the rest button, it doesn't function.

Please, follow the instruction below:

  1. Please, go to the Settings app on your Galaxy Z Flip 4.

  1. Scroll down and tap General management.
  2. Tap Reset.


You'll see the option to reset your phone to its factory settings. Tap this option and confirm that you want to proceed with the reset.

The phone won't let me get that far. When and if I get to the reset screen, the reset button doesn't work!!!

  1. With your device powered off, press and hold the Volume up and Side buttons simultaneously until the Android Recovery screen appears.
  2. Press the Volume down button until Wipe data/factory reset is highlighted, then press the Side button.

I can't turn of the phone! The button on the side won't take me to that screen.
