Got it
After entering the wrong user password three times, are you asked if you want to restart your computer to view the password recovery options?

In order to do so just follow the instruction below:
1. Click the Apple icon in the top-left corner of the screen and select "System Preferences."
2. Select "Security and Privacy."
3. If needed, toggle over to the "General" tab.
4. Untick the box labelled "Requires Password."
5. Enter your Mac's password in the pop-up window.
6. Confirm your choice by clicking "Turn off screen lock."
