Have HP Office Jet Pro 8600 - control screen no longer lights up, so cannot use to copy, fax, etc.

Follow these steps to do so, please:

  1. Press the Power button to turn off the printer.
  2. Wait 60 seconds, and then press the Power button to turn on the printer.

Please, take the next steps to reset it:

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.
  3. Wait 60 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
