its 2 to 3 years
checked connection, printer works fine, when I try to select scanner it says computer not found
which is strange because if printer sees the computer, the scanner should too

I just selected all printers & scanners and nothing showed up. I selected printers & scanners and EPSON WF-4820 Series is listed.

On your printer screen - Press the home button -> Select Scan.
