A document that cannot be deleted is preventing me from printing further documents

My printer is a MFC-J4540DW
What troubleshooting have you done so far?
My printer has a document that wont print and cant be deleted and hence I cannot use my printer

What have you done so far?
I have gone to the document to be printed queue and tried to delete the document
What happens when you're trying to delete it?
nothing happens, it just tells me that it is deleting the document *when in actual fact nothing is happening
Please, reboot your PC and try to print once again
ie under "status" it reads "deleting"

Could you specify, please, whether have you tried to delete files from the queue with these steps:
- Open the Control Panel.
- Click Hardware and Sound => Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on the Brother Printer Driver and choose to See What's
Printing. - Click on the specific job to highlight it. Then click Document => Cancel.
I did that and shpwed that nothing was in the print queue
printing has now commenced
