Follow this instruction, please: Go to the Start menu and click Settings, Devices, then Printers & scanners. Select Add a printer or scanner and wait for your printer to appear in the list, then select it and hit Add device.
Did that but did not work shall I try again

Okay, now you can try to print something
Select your printer from the list of devices before printing
Yep I printed out ok so I should be able to set as default now?
