I have an uber account but when I try to download the uber app to my mobile phone, I get a message that says "check your connection and try again." I've checked the connection and it is fine - I get and can send text messages and phone calls. Not sure what is going on but would like to have the app on my phone.

In many of the cases it has found that the error is caused due to wrong Date and Time.
You can follow that in case your Date and Time are correct.
Date and Time in AndroidGo to Settings >>Date & Time
Enable Automatic Date and Time.
After that try to download the Uber app again

Go to, All the apps > >Find the Google Play Store>> Clear Cache and Data
Once you have clear everything, Next you need to Force Stop the application.
Similarly, Find the Google Play Service >> Clear Cache and Data
Also, Find Google Services Framework>> Clear Cache and data
Now, Restart your device and try to download the app.

There is no "clear cache and data" option under Google Plat store. Choices are: Notification, permissions, remove permissions if app is unused, set as default, mobile data, battery, storage, memory, change system settings and App details in store.

Storage has a list items (App, Data and Cache) with a total spaced used. No clear cache option. Checking memory now

Not one of the options - have: Privacy with three submenus (Notications, Permissions and Remove Permissions if app is unused - the last one is set to be on); Defaults with one submenu- set as default; Usage with six submenus - Mobile data, battery, storage and memory, Change system settings and app details in store.

There a date range first - 12/1/22 - 1/1/23. Then three three figures - total, foregroud and background with MB numbers for each. Then two items: Allow background data usage (this is checked on) and Allow data usage while data saver is on (this is checked off).

same thing - I hit google play and it wants me to install wallet. I hit install and it takes me back to the same page asking me to install wallet. Wallet is not listed in settings as an app that is installed, but it won't let me install it
