My facebook posts dissappear after I upload them.

Short summary:

  1. Access the Activity Log on your Facebook Timeline.
  2. Check if your posts are visible in the Activity Log.
  3. Optionally, use the "Pin to Top" feature to highlight specific posts on your Timeline.
  4. Optionally, switch to the "most recent" feed for a chronological display.
  5. Troubleshoot the issue with pinning the latest post by checking if it was made from your current account and attempting to show the post or use the "Add to Page" option.
  6. Test the changes on your Facebook Timeline.

Hello, thank you for using Howly.
Do you mean you can't see your posts on the Facebook timeline?

Yes exactly. Shortly after I upload them they disappear.
I have also checked my page quality which has no problem.

Okay, got it. Please, note, that Facebook has inserted a new feature in its Timeline interface which shows only the most popular of the posts that you made in the past months.
Therefore, while you’ll see all your recent posts on your Timeline –only the most popular posts from previous months find a place on Timeline. Facebook hides not-so-popular posts from your Timeline.

Is there a way I can see them?

Have you checked the Activity Log? To do it, please go to your Timeline, and on top of the cover image, you’ll find a button labeled “Activity Log”.

Customer Replay

I found the activity log. What do I do now?

There you should see all your posts arranged chronologically. Do you see all your posts there?

That's what I see on my activity log
Wait I think I actually found the source of the problem. I saw my watch history and every one of the videos there shows only me-hidden from page

Okay, thanks.
Speaking of Activity Log, you should see this menu on the left side of your screen. You should be able to choose "my posts" there.

I got it

Okay, have you found your posts there?

Customer Replay

Yes
I did
Now?

In this case, they didn’t disappear, you just didn’t see them in your Timeline due to the new Facebook algorithms.

Customer Replay

Until yesterday this didn't happen. Is there a way I can make them be first on my timeline. If not, no problem as I am relieved that at least the posts didn't get removed.

Top answer

One way is to use the "Pin to Top" feature, which allows you to pin a post to the top of your timeline for up to seven days:

  • Go to your Facebook profile.
  • Find the post you want to pin to the top of your timeline.
  • Click the three dots in the top right corner of the post.
  • Select "Pin to Top" from the dropdown menu.
You can also switch your Timeline to a chronological feed.
  • On your browser, go to the sidebar on the left-hand side of the page.
  • Scroll down until you see "most recent" and click it.

But this will only work for you, other people will see the feed according to their settings.

Ok. I am not sure but I think there's something else going wrong. Facebook lets me pin other posts to the top but not the one I uploaded latest.

Do you mean there is no "Pin post" button?

Customer Replay

Yes

Was this post definitely made from the account you are logged into?

Customer Replay

I'm sure it was uploaded from my account
It says public-hidden from profile

Could you please send me a screenshot?

Customer Replay

Sure!

This means that the post is publicly visible to any user who has access to the post's direct link, but it is hidden from the Facebook page's timeline and cannot be found by browsing the page's posts.

Customer Replay

What do we do then?

Please click on the three dots next to the post you want to display on the page and check if there is an option to show the post.

Customer Replay

Yes there is an option that says add to page but when I press it a notification appears which says sorry something went wrong
It may have worked. I tried the same from another phone. Give me a minute and I'll notify you.
It worked for me though! Thanks. I was actually really worried. Again thanks!

Okay, great. By the way, I tried enabling this on my computer and it worked. So if you have this issue on your phone, you can use the web version.

Customer Replay

Will do. Goodbye and have a great day!

Thanks a lot!
