i did that

Customer Replay

ok

  • Please, go to Display in settings and turn OFF lock homescreen, it might help you to get rid of the grey bubble, that shows it on every app.
Customer Replay

So, it is turned off, correct?

Customer Replay

y

It's an accessibility feature called "Time To Take Action" which prolongs the amount of time an app or system message remains on the screen.

  • You can change this easily in settings by using the search function within settings or go into Accessibility>advance settings to find it and modify the timeout length or disable it.
Customer Replay

let me confirm that that fixed the problem

I am so glad to hear that!
I’m glad I was able to get that sorted out for you. Is there anything else I can assist you with today?

Customer Replay

thank you, I was about to reset my phone to factory. you saved me from days of reloading. Now, which v edrsion of outlook should i use to get my dc.rr.com email on outlook on my computer to sync with my calendar

Got it, you can use the latest version of Outlook to sync with your calendar. Just make sure, that it is updated to the latest version.

Customer Replay

latest meaning on my computer or outlook on my phone?

Yes, you can use the same Office 365 app both on your conputer and phone. Just make sure, that you signed in and you are ready to use it.

Customer Replay

ok, i will try that.

Good!
Do you have any additional questions I can help you with?

Customer Replay

ok, that will take a while but how do i migrate my calendar with my many appointments to that new outlook on my phone., My calendrar is the most recent native calendar app

  • Open your web browser and log in to Outlook.com by entering your Microsoft account credentials.
  • Open Outlook Settings.
  • Go to Shared Calendars, select the calendar that you want to add to the Samsung Calendar app, and
    click Publish. That's it.
Customer Replay

ok, but the reverse. how do i add the samsun calendar entries to outlook.com, which is not the office 365 outlook

I see.

  • Copy your Outlook calendar's ICS address.
  • Add your Outlook calendar to your Google calendar.
  • Add and sync your Google calendar to your Samsung calendar.
They will be the same, they will sync from both sides.
Customer Replay

but we are talking microsoft, i have never used google calendar

So, as I understood, you have to connect your Samsung calendar with Microsoft, is that right?

Customer Replay

yes, i use office outlook on my computer, Samsung calendar on my phone, and i need to sync people and calendars

  • Open the "Calendar App" on your android phone.
  • Tap on three lines to open the calendar menu.
  • Tap on gear button to open settings
  • Tap on "Add new account".
  • Select "Microsoft Exchange"
  • Enter your Outlook credentials and tap "Sign in".
