Please try this:
Reboot your Smart Device. Remove and reinsert the battery. If the device doesn't have a removable battery, press and hold the power button and volume down button for up to 15 seconds until the device resets. Turn the device back on and reopen the Night Owl HD App.
Already did that, rebooted everything, unistalled app and reinstalled it..

I'm not sure, like I stated, it was working fine up to about a month ago, it works fine when I am at home using wifi, but if I'm not home and using just the app, it tells me offline however I am still receiving camera alerts..
When you are away from home, can you use the app?
No, it states that my DVR is offline, but I am still getting camera alerts

Yes, but what will that do except render the app totally useless...

Try to do this:
Select Wi-Fi and tap on the network starting with “NOIP.” iii. After selecting the camera's network, return to the Night Owl Connect App to continue connecting the camera.
My cameras are hardwired, not wifi cameras..
If you don't have an Internet connection on the other device, either the cable is bad, or you are having a problem with your ISP
Did that, not a cable issue, maybe it is my router, I not sure, but the system works fine all in all, just started giving me this issue recently...
It could be not updated. And that's why it shows this issue.

From the Firmware Upgrade menu, choose Manual Upgrade or Upgrade from USB. Choose the location for the recorder to access the new firmware and click “Submit” or “Upgrade.” Your recorder begins updating the firmware.
Okay, that sounds about right, haven't updated in a while but I thought I had automatic updates, but will do that...
