My MacBook Air won’t turn on

All I see on the screen is the Apple logo and a thin black line. Initially looked like it was updating. Model from around 2012-14

Short summary:

  1. Press and hold the power button for approximately 10 seconds until the screen goes blank.
  2. Release the power button.
  3. Press the power button again to turn the device back on.
  4. Check if the issue still persists after the device has restarted.

Hello, thank you for using Howly.
Can you take me a photo screen of your MacBook Air, please?
