My Kindle keeps saying that the password is incorrect

but it is what the Spectrum router assigned me and it has worked for several years??? I have been connected with Amazon free books and Good Reads until now

I have the answer for the question that Spectrum gave me on my tower. It has always worked until now. Now it doesn't recognize it.

Could you check if you are entering in upper case or lower case because the password for the wireless network is case-sensitive.

I entered it with all lower case and it still doesn't work. Always has????

Did you re-enter the password every time you connected or did you connect automatically?

I think it was automatic but it stopped working a couple of months ago and I haven't had time to pursue why.

Do the following steps, please:

  1. Press and hold the power button until either a power dialog box appears or the screen goes blank.
  2. Continue holding the power button for 40 seconds, then release it.
