i guess i did have issues i did not get a workable password for my chromebook

Please try to follow these steps and set a new password:

  1. Go to the page https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery
  2. Enter the email, then click "Next".
  3. Instead of entering your password, click "Try another way"
  4. Enter the phone number.
  5. Choose the option "Send a code".
  6. If you don't have access to the phone number, please choose the option "Try another way" and follow the on-screen instructions.
