If that doesn't work

1. Press the Command + Option + Escape keys simultaneously on your keyboard. This will open the “Force Quit” application window.
2. In the “Force Quit”, click on the browser in which your are seeing the “Apple Platform Security” pop-up.
3. Click the button that says “Force Quit“. This will forcefully end your browser, thus closing the “Apple Platform Security” pop-up.
