I forgot my password on my MacBook Pro

Restart your MacBook Pro: Click on the Apple menu in the top left corner of the screen and select "Restart".
Enter Recovery Mode: As the computer restarts, hold down the Command (⌘) and R keys simultaneously until the Apple logo or a spinning globe appears. This will start your MacBook Pro in Recovery mode.
Access Terminal: In the Recovery mode menu, select "Utilities" from the menu bar at the top and then choose "Terminal" from the drop-down menu.
Reset the Password: In the Terminal window, type "resetpassword" (without quotes) and press Enter.
Reset Password Window: A "Reset Password" window will appear. Select your main hard drive (usually named Macintosh HD) and choose the user account for which you want to reset the password.
Set a New Password: Enter a new password for the user account and confirm it by entering it again in the "Verify" field. You can also add a hint to help remember the password if desired.
Save Changes: Click on the "Save" button to apply the new password.
Restart your MacBook Pro: After setting the new password, click on the Apple menu in the top left corner and select "Restart" to restart your MacBook Pro.
Log in with the New Password: Once your MacBook Pro restarts, you can log in using the new password you just set.

Hold down the Command and R keys at the same time as the computer restarts. This will start your MacBook Pro in Recovery mode.
