I can't get hp pro mfp m148dw online

I deleted and now can't install

Short summary:

  1. Update the drivers if necessary.
  2. Check if the HP Smart app is installed on your device.
  3. Check if the printer is connected to Wi-Fi.
  4. Select the Start button, then select Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners. Under Printers & scanners, look for your printer.
  5. If you don't see the printer, power cycle it by following these steps:
    a. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
    b. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Wait at least 1 minute.
    c. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
    d. Reconnect the power cord to the printer. Turn the printer on.
  6. Open the HP Smart app and check if you see the "Add printer" option. If you don't see the printer, restore the printer settings to factory-set defaults and then connect it to your device one more time by following these steps:
    a. On the printer control panel, press the button.
    b. Open the following menus: Service > Restore Defaults.
    c. Touch or press the OK button.
    The printer automatically restarts.
  7. Open the HP Smart app and check if you see the printer connected. Install the necessary software if prompted.
  8. Try printing again through the HP Smart app.

this printer has worked perfectly.. i came back from the weekend and it was offline. i couldn't

ok..i guess the ethernet runs from my router to my desktop... the printer just has the power cord and one other cord directly plugged into my desktop
