I can't find how to erase the data from the old phone. (old phone is an IPhone 6s)

I received a new IPhone today. I have transferred my data, but in the process I did not erase the data on my old phone

Short summary:

  1. On your iPhone, open the "Settings" app.
  2. Tap "General" and then tap "Transfer or Reset [device]."
  3. Select "Erase All Content and Settings."
  4. If you have Find My [device] turned on, you might be prompted to enter your Apple ID and password.
  5. If your device uses eSIM, choose the option to erase your device and the eSIM profile when asked.
  6. Wait for the erasing process to complete.
  7. Once the data is erased, your old iPhone will display a language and region selection screen, similar to what you saw when you set up your new iPhone.

Hello, thank you for using Howly.
Have you already done any steps to erase the data from the old iPhone?

I said "no" when I was asked about erasing the data because the new phone was not activated.
