Every time I try to pay for my ride through the Lyft app it says payment error

My card information is correct my card is good I've used it before now it says payment error why

  • Could you please close and reopen the Lyft app
  • And after re-add the payment method.
    This is a common issue with the Lyft app, sometimes you just need to re-add the card
  • To manage payment methods, open the Lyft app’s menu and tap ‘Payment’.
  • There you will have the option to add a new payment method or edit/delete an existing one.
  • To edit or delete a payment method just tap on it in the list.

Please note that you can not delete a payment method if it’s the only one linked to your account.
