when I turn my computer off my brother printer MFC-J4335DW goes offline
Looked at settings
when this happens I cannot print from my ipad as it does not find my printer
I have never had this problem with any other printer

We'll get it figured out
First, let's check if the printer is set as the default.
To do that, please press the Windows key + I to open Settings, click Devices > Printers & scanners, select your printer, and click Open queue. Click Printer on the top toolbar and click Set As Default Printer. If you do not want Windows to manage your default printers, return to the Printers & scanners page and untick Allow Windows to manage my default printer.

Okay
Please follow these steps to power cycle your printer:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the
    printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 1 minute.
Please, let me know once it's done and we'll carry on
