Why doesn't my phone ring on calls when it vibrates

What is your phone model?
ok it's a g7 plus
Samsung?
No Motorolla
So you have no sound only vibration, correct?
yes. All volumes are at full
Please do the following:
Go Settings > Sound > Do Not Disturb, and check what Notifications is set to.
do not disturb is off shortcut is off moto audio is on smart audio. all other sounds are on

Have you restarted the phone?
yes I did that yesterday
All the other sounds, like text messages are on?
where do i find that? I am not getting any sounds
If you try to listen to the music you have sound?
I don't listen to music on my phone
So, no sound when you receive a call, but you have sound in other apps?
yes
I can make and recieve calls with sound . It is just the ringing that doesnt happen
the alarm sound works
Can you, please, check if your phone is on silent mode?
The volume sound is fully on

Go to Settings > (or Settings > Sounds & Haptics), and drag the Ringer and Alerts slider back and forth a few times.
If you can't hear any sound, or if your speaker button on the Ringer and Alerts slider is dimmed, your speaker may need to be serviced.
ok so when I slid the sound and ring volume buttons they worked but not well. I just rang the phone from my land line and my mobile rang . Thank you. I know what to do next time
