What is the point of internet calling?

I have a Samsung A13 with Tracfone service. Two people that I know use internet calling andtexting while at home so that their time and texts are not reduced. Wi-Fi calling is beneficial for numerous reasons. Most notably, it allows you to communicate from the most remote locations, as long as an internet connection is available. That means you can make voice calls and send messages whether you're indoors, outdoors, or even underground.

Yes. Did you read the question about the charges for internet calling. That is my question since I am usually calling from home and am on a fixed income.

Not all countries and not all operators offer the ability to make Wi-fi calls.
So, it's not beneficial in that area.

Ok, and do you have connected Wi-Fi calling right now, or do you want to know if there will be the same when you connect to it?
Because, in most cases, Wi-Fi calling does not incur any additional costs. Most cellphone providers will treat Wi-Fi calls the same as any other call and deduct those minutes from your cellphone plan's allotment.
