The fan is on automatic and yet it still goes on

I turned off my furnace completely. So it’s AC and heat. There is a heat pump. And on the thermostat when I go to fan and click on auto the fan still comes on. For the longest time my Hydro bill has been very high. I’ve called in a technician a few times can’t find the problem. But now that I’ve turned off the system completely. And I’m trying to turn off the fan it’s not happening
What is the brand and model of your device?
I’m looking for the manual I can’t seem to find it. The furnace guy replaced it like three years ago it’s a Honeywell but

The thermostat was replaced three years ago The thermostat says inside is 21 outside is 11 and the fan is working
As far as my knowledge goes, it might need to get replaced again. The AC and fan tend to fail when thermostat fails. Do you still have contacts of that guy who replaced it?
Is it possible that the on and the auto are on together am I able to send you a picture of the thermostat

Well I can help you in general for any electronics, but when it comes to specific wiring of the specific thermostat, I cannot help you out.
But if you saw what the thermostat is saying. That both auto and on our there you could tell me

What if you click on "More" and try to change the mode?
When I click on more it doesn’t give me the option for fan I accidentally clicked on clean screen what does that mean

I think I finally got it on auto. Cleaning the screen helped thank you sir for your time I will only be charged the one dollar correct
