Samsung tablet galaxy tabb s6 light will not connect to internet

It also does not have on off button I have reset my modem several times and that does not work either. Our TV and computer and phones all hook up to the intenet as well. the hotspot on the tablet is not working either. Help please

What troubleshooting have you done so far?

reset modem several times. turning on and off tablet. watched videos on the problem. I also do not have a shut down button. this tablet is only 5 months old.

Can you ensure the Samsung tablet's software is up to date: Settings > Software update > Download updates manually

can not do that, it will not connect to the internet. the last time it updated was 11/3/22

Try this as well: Go in to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > Toggle Wi-Fi on > Advanced > Manage networks > Delete the network, restart the phone and connect it to it again.

In this case I recommend you to perform hard reset for your S6 Lite

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Swap down to General Management
  3. Tap on Reset option
  4. Select Reset Network Settings
  5. Tap on Reset settings and confirm with pattern
  6. Confirm by tapping on Reset
  7. Wait till you see "Network Settings reset" message
  8. When it disappear yours network settings were reset
