How did it start?
turned on facebook and there were no pictures then tried to send a message and that failed to send

yes turned it off and on again after 10 mins

Switch off WiFi and Bluetooth
Make sure your device is not in Airplane mode
no its note. was listening to a podcast last night went to sleep with it on and then thats when it wouldn't work
