My kindle wont connnect to my WIFI

Find Wifi option on your Kindle
Swipe down from the top of the screen, then tap All Settings > Wi-Fi & Bluetooth > Wi-Fi Networks.

and like i said, i tried at the corner cafe where i have the option and their wifi and it didn't connect

Understood, sorry for misleading you, we would actually need wi-fi to update your Kindle. We can try downloading the update image on your computer to connect the Kindle and try to update it offline

Just unplug your router from the outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and wait another 20-30 seconds before trying to connect your Kindle

Sometimes, wifi routers change their working channels automatically and it might cause the issue with some devices like Kindle
