Got it, before we proceed, I really need to know the model of the player. Can you please search for the sticker on the bottom or behind the player where it would indicate the model?

    turns off.

Blank screen still on

author

Try this, please:

  1. Please turn off the Blu-ray Disc player and let it rest for 1 minute.
  2. Turn the Blu-ray Disc player back on.
  3. Immediately after POWER ON appears on display, press the STOP button
on the front of the player.
  4. Only use the STOP button on the front of the Blu-ray Disc player. The remote
control won't work for this operation.
  5. The disc tray should eject and the Blu-ray Disc player will turn off. If it doesn't eject, repeat the steps above.
  6. It may be necessary to press the STOP button in the 4 steps two or three times.
