My 55 inch Samsung tv has no sound

Short summary:

  1. Using your TV's remote, press the Volume up button to check if the sound is working.
  2. If you cannot see the volume displayed on the screen, navigate to Settings.
  3. If you see a Support option, select it and then select Self Diagnosis.
  4. Select Sound Test and wait for the test to finish. If the test reveals a problem, you can try resetting the sound.
  5. If you do not see a Support option in the Settings, select Sound, and then select Sound Output.
  6. Select TV Speaker. You will now be able to see the volume displayed on the screen.
  7. If your TV is connected to an external device, you can check the volume settings on the device as well.
