When it asked to set up voice mail, it wouldn't accept the number I input for it.

Even though I have set up a PIN number and was given the that it was done, it will not let me into my voice mail. When did this become such a difficult thing to do?

I am so perplexed by all of this. I've never been so directed to such a complex way to get my phone set up and working. I recorded an answer and everything. But, still the number I assigned doesn't work to get to my voice mail messages.

Your phone needs a wireless connection to receive calls, access voicemail, download Visual Voicemail messages, and get voicemail notification alerts. To check that your signal is strong enough for this:
1. Turn your phone off for 10 seconds and then back on.
2. Place a test call to 611.
3. Do one of the following:
- If the test call is successful, press and hold 1 to dial into the voicemail system.
- If your test call fails, confirm you have wireless coverage.

But that reset wll change all of my settings back to factory reset. hy would I have to do that just to set a password to get to my voice mail. None of this makes nay sense to me. Why v=can I nit set up a voice mail recovery without resetting to factory settings?

Thank you. I just a voice mail from my Credit Union. Thank you for your help with this. I've never been through anything comparatively to this process. Setting up voice mail should be easy, not an arduous test of patience.
