1: Log in to Xero using a web browser: https://login.xero.com/identity/user/login. If you don’t have access to your authentication device, click Use another authentication method.

2. Click your initials or profile image, then select Account.
If you're using a smartphone, tap the menu icon at the top right of the screen to find your initials or
profile image, then select Account.
3. Under Additional Security, click Change in the Connected device section.
4. Confirm that it’s you making this request. If you don’t have access to your authentication code, use your email address to authenticate.
5. On your new device, install the authenticator app of your choice. To use push notifications, get the Xero Verify app.
6. Follow the steps in Xero to add your Xero account to the app.
7. Add a backup email address, then click Continue. You’ll be prompted to confirm the email address by entering a verification code sent to your inbox.
8. If you’d rather use security questions and answers, click Add backup security questions instead. Your answers can only contain letters or numbers, and not any symbols or special characters.
