I can’t sign in to my yahoo mail

It says my account is locked from too many incorrect sign in attempts. However, I haevn't been trying to sign in since yesterday when there were no problems

I can't sign in to my Yahoo mail. IT says there haev been too many unsuccessful attempts to sign in. However, I have not tried to sign in within the last 24 hours.

ok, I opened this link, used my phone number to receive and a verification code, but I do not get a veriufication code. This is the smae thing that happened when I tried the link before I contacted you.

What happened after you set the new password?

Nothing really. I was recycled to the sign in screen and started another failed attempt. It's a bad loop I got stuck on
