I am having a great deal of difficulty trying to remove my old card and adding a new card

Visa card that I use for Apple has been hacked. My bank will issue me with a new one soon but I have another visa that I can use.

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap your name.
  • Tap Payment & Shipping.
  • Tap Edit, tap the red Delete button, then tap Remove.

payment and delivery comes up and it asks for password which I will type in
it comes up with to add and verify payment information or add new payment method. This is where it comes unstuck! It says unable to to remove because there is one active subscription
if I close it the same screen comes up

Let's try to cancel it:

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap your name.
  • Tap Subscriptions

Please try to add your new payment method first.
Please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Media & Purchases, then tap View Account. You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
  4. Tap Manage Payments.
  5. Tap Add Payment Method.
