Nice to meet you, *****!
Please, Check your network's settings to ensure you're using the correct wireless password.
Make note of both the wireless password and security type. Both need to be entered correctly into the Wii Settings.
The password is correct. I tried all of the security types. None have worked
I see, then please Power cycle your router and modem, and then try again.
Okay doing that now
Good
My router is currently turning back on
My Wii is still not connecting and showing the same error
Ok, try to change your router's channel setting to 1 or 11
How do I do that
You need to access the router setting page. Please provide me with the model.
Will this mess up anything else connected to my router
It says ARRIS model TG1682G
Thanks
To login to Arris TG1682G Router, Open your web browser and type the default IP Address 10.0.0.1 in the address bar
You should now see the router login page with 2 text fields where you can type a username and a password
The default username for your Arris TG1682G router is admin and the default password is password
Done
Type-in the username & password, hit "Login" and now you should see the Arris TG1682G router control panel

Look for - Gateway (found in the left hand side menu bar) , and click on it
Look for - Connection (found in the left hand side menu bar) , and click on it
