How do I recover a forgotten password for my tablet

  • Please turn it off now if it's turned on
  • Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons.
  • Continue to hold the Volume Up and Power buttons until the Android Recovery screen appears then release both buttons.
  • From the Android Recovery screen, select Wipe data/factory reset.
  • Select Yes.

Are you sure that your tablet is Samsung? Could you please specify which model? What is it written on the back of the tablet?

There are so many different options for different models. Could you check what is written on the back of your tablet?

Just that Alcatel word at start up other then that I can't find a thing written anywhere

Let's try if you see the factory reset if we do this:

  • Turn your tablet off.
  • Hold the volume down key.
  • Turn your tablet on.
  • Press the volume up key.
  • Using the volume down key, highlight Wipe data/factory reset.
    Press the power key to select Wipe data/factory reset.
