How do i get the galaxy 5 watch to stop sending movement messages to my emergency people

I turned off the fall app and tried powering down the watch and then turned it back on.

Short summary:

  1. Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone.
  2. Tap on Watch Settings.
  3. Tap on Advanced or Advanced Features.
  4. Tap on SOS.
  5. Turn off the "Send SOS messages"
  6. If you see the "SOS" icon on your watch screen, swipe left on the Home screen to access your notifications.
  7. Tap the SOS notification.
  8. Tap Stop Sharing.
  9. Tap the checkmark.
  10. Your SOS feature is now disabled.

Hello, thank you for using Howly.
What fall app did you use on your Galaxy Watch?

where is sos
i am in advanced settings

Are you sure you want to completely disable this feature?
In general, the function should work in such a way that your watch will alert you within 60 seconds with a pop-up, sound, and vibration.
BUT you should be able to cancel the alert or swipe to send an SOS immediately.
If you were unable to cancel the alert, we can try to update apps, phone, watches, etc.
What do you think?

To turn SOS off you can just:

  • tap the SOS notification on your watch
  • then tap Stop sharing
  • then tap the checkmark.
Customer Replay

that did't work at the time. where is stop sharing?
i tapped it to off on the sos home key

Do you still see the "SOS" icon on your watch screen?

  • When the SOS feature is active, a red siren icon will appear on your watch's Home screen.
  • If you see the icon, swipe left on the Home screen to access your notifications.
  • Tap the SOS notification, tap Stop sharing, and then tap the checkmark.
Customer Replay

it says location sharing stopped but would that mean alerts to them too
should i clear all where the trash can appears
i hit it and the red dot disappeared

If you followed the instructions exactly, the alerts will stop being sent.

Customer Replay

thanks

If you mean clear notification, yes you can clear it, but it shouldn't affect your issue. I mean it doesn't affect whether your notifications are sent or not.
Okay, please clarify if you wanted to disable this feature completely or just so that only this time the person stops receiving notifications.

Customer Replay

completely

Got it
In this case, you can tap Watch settings, tap Advanced or Advanced features, and then tap SOS.
And just turn these 2 options off like it's shown on the screenshot below.

Yes, in your Galaxy Wearable app.

Customer Replay

i already turned the hard fall off

Okay, your SOS function is disabled now. Don't worry it won't be able to send messages to your emergency contacts if you won't change it in your settings.
