Okay
Can you please specify the model of your Samsung?

Customer Replay

I'm not sure...

I see
What troubleshooting have you done so far?

Customer Replay

I can't unlock it and don't remember the passcode

In this case you will need to perform hard reset for your phone

Customer Replay

I took out the Sim card and tried to restart

But please note this procedure may erase all the data on your phone

Customer Replay

Ok how do I do the hard reset?

To provide you with the correct instructions I would like to know the model of your phone
Do you have an original package from it? You may check the model then on the box

Customer Replay

I don't have the box...I think its a Samsung A7

Customer Replay

Ok

Thank you

  1. First turn off your Samsung Galaxy A7 completely.
If you can not unlock the screen, press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds and the phone will turn off.
  2. Keep holding on volume down and power keys together for a few seconds.
In some devices according to the Android version the combination can be the power key and the volume key up.
  3. When the Samsung logo is displayed, release the buttons.
  4. Move through the menu with the volume up and volume down keys until you reach the “Recovery Mode” option and press the power button to access.

Let me know when you are done with all four steps
