How can I tell what generation my iPad Pro 12.9 is?

Use the model number to find out which model iPad you have. You can find the model number in two ways:

  1. Look on the back of your iPad.
  2. Open Settings, tap General, then tap About. Look for the model number in the top section. If the number you see has a slash "/", that's the part number Then let me know the model so that I can tell you the generation.
