Hello, thank you for using Howly. I’ll be happy to help you out! May I ask your name?
*****
Nice to meet you, *****!
According to my information, the answer is yes.
But make sure that you use the local SIM card in your Spypoint camera and check the Cellular Coverage map to make sure that there is a good signal where you want to place the camera.
Is there anything else I can do for you today?
DO I have to be on a cellular plan in Canada with the SIM card?
The SIM card should be able to connect to the Internet in order to give you an image, so the Canadian SIM card or US SIM with a good international roaming plan will do.
Let me rephrase that. My T-mobile plan lets me make phone calls from Ontario to the united states. Would I use a T-mobile SIM card?
You answered my question! Thanks!
I’m glad I was able to get that sorted out for you. Is there anything else I can assist you with today?
How do I get the additional SIM card from T-mobil?
https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone/t-mobile-sim-card <<< You can order one online on this website, or you can buy one almost at every major store like Seven-Eleven in Canada.
One more question, would I be able to activate the trail camera from Pennsylvania, just to see what the weather was like for instance?
If there is an Internet connection on the other end (on camera), you can receive the information and image from that camera if that answers your question.
SO, it would have to be hooked up to WFI?
Not necessarily, the 4G cellular network will do fine.
Hey great! Thanks so much! Have a great day!
I am so pleased to see your issue got resolved!
