CAN'T GET MY YAHOO EMAIL ON MY PC -IT SAYS ITS OUT OF DATE

Short summary:

  1. Click on the "Start" button in the bottom left corner of your screen.
  2. Type "Microsoft Store" in the search bar and click on the Microsoft Store app.
  3. In the Microsoft Store app, type "Mail and Calendar" in the search bar.
  4. Select the "Mail and Calendar" app from the search results and click on "Get" to download and install the app.
  5. Open Windows 10 Mail, and select Add account.
  6. Select Yahoo! from the list.
  7. Type in your full email address, and select Next.
  8. Enter your email password, and select Sign in.
  9. If the error still persists, uninstall the Yahoo email app by selecting Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features, finding the app you want to remove, selecting More > Uninstall, and following the prompts.
  10. To reinstall the app, repeat steps 1-4.
  11. Once the app is reinstalled, follow steps 5-8 to add your Yahoo account back to Windows 10 Mail.
  12. If the error is still there, try to input a new password when prompted and sign in again.

yes, i had to go thru a microsoft update the other day. I've used yahoo mail earlier in the year -and it is now stuck back in march- It says that the account is out of date. Tried using the fix button and it says sorry can't fix.

Let's try to delete and re-download the Yahoo email app:

  1. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.
  2. Find the app you want to remove, select More > Uninstall

Please let me know once it is uninstalled.

no it is not -as I deleted the original account and now it is ok with it stating yahoo 2 - outlook is now telling me to get started with mail account

Ok I just found success and got my Yahoo account back by re- inputting a new password that it asked me for
