The circular cover plate has come loose on one side of the flywheel on the vision fitness elliptical

How do I RE attach?

Short summary:

  1. Try positioning the cover where it was and press on it to attach it.
  2. The first step is to unattach the arm from the circular cover plate using an Allen wrench.
  3. Remove the plastic cover that covers two other arms, and then unattach those arms from each other using a socket wrench.
  4. Remove the cross bars to see if they can be attached back to the circular cover.
  5. Once you have reattached the cover, replace the plastic cover and attach the arms back together.
  6. If you don't have the necessary tools or don't feel comfortable attempting the repair yourself, contact a repairman for assistance.

looked at it in confused disbelief

Are there any errors on the treadmill's display? Does your Vision Fitness treadmill turn on and work properly?

Customer Replay

Tried that it that didn’t work
it looks like there should be some sort of clip or a bolt that screws in but I’ve looked around and found nothing loose

Top answer

You can see those cross bars under the cover that is unattached. The cover is supposed to be attached to those bars and it seems that they aren’t supposed to be removable from the cover. So the issue might be that the cover broke or was unattached from those bars.

Customer Replay

Agreed. So how do I reattach it?

I think your issue requires help from a repairman, who's able to come to review the problem in person. However, if you would like to try to fix it yourself I'll do my best to provide you with the clearest instructions.
Please, let me know what option you whould opt for.

Customer Replay

ok. Where do I start ?
