New laptop with windows 11 - wont load McAffee LiveSafe software because it was not sourced from the Microsoft Store

How do we defeat this? Antivirus software is essential.

Short summary:

  1. Open the "Settings" app on your Windows 11 laptop.
  2. In the left panel, select the "System" section.
  3. Scroll down the list and click on "Activation."
  4. Click on "S Mode."
  5. Click on "Open Store."
  6. Click on "Get" to exit S Mode.
  7. Now, you should be able to install the McAffee LiveSafe software outside the Microsoft Store.
  8. Go to the official McAffee website and download the installation file.
  9. Once the download is complete, double-click the file to start the installation process.
  10. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  11. After installation, launch the McAffee LiveSafe software and follow the instructions to set it up.
