My ring keeps alerting for no reason

I tried rebooting my phone and disconnecting power at the wall with no success

Do following:

  1. From within the Ring app on your phone, tap the Options icon and select
    Devices.
  2. Tap your Ring doorbell device.
  3. Tap Motion Settings.
  4. Tap Advanced Settings.
  5. Tap Motion Frequency.
  6. Select Frequently, Regularly, or Periodically.

Frequently (always on and checking), Regularly (takes a short break after each motion alert), or Periodically (takes a longer break after each motion alert)

Here's how to configure Smart Alerts on your Ring doorbell:

  1. From within the Ring app, tap the Options icon and select Devices.
  2. Tap your Ring doorbell device.
  3. Tap Motion Settings.
  4. Tap Smart Alerts.
  5. In the Person section, tap "on" the Notification icon.
  6. In the Other Motion section, tap "off" the Notification icon.
