Yes, it's kind of different, Boost will mean it will show more options in more searches, what ads it's advertising with some product or URL to the shop in or out of Instagram.
so when I see sponsored ads they are made through the meta ad manager?
How to create Instagram ads in Ads Manager
To select Instagram as a placement for your ads:
Go to Ads Manager. Here is the link - https://www.facebook.com/business/help/148723649153231
There is the button Create ad.
- Select Create.
- Choose an objective that supports Instagram as an ad placement.
- Select Continue.
- Fill in the details for your ad set.
- At the placements section, you can select Manual placements and select Instagram to have your ads appear on Instagram. If you select automatic placements, your ad will run across a variety of Facebook placements, including Instagram to give you the best value for your ads.
- Select Continue.
Or the other option is to use the Facebook Manager ads and choose to connect this ad to your Instagram at the end of setting the ad.
