I want to switch from Windows 11 back to Windows 10.

Short summary:

  1. Open the Settings app by clicking on the Start menu and selecting the gear icon. Alternatively, you can press the Windows key + I on your keyboard.
  2. In the Settings window, click on the "System" option.
  3. On the left sidebar, select the "Recovery" tab.
  4. On the right side, under the "Recovery options" section, you will find the "Previous version of Windows" settings. Click on the "Go Back" button.
  5. A window will appear asking for the reason for going back to the previous version. Select an available reason that best suits your situation and click the "Next" button.
  6. Another window will appear with a message asking if you want to check for updates. Select the "No, thanks" option and click the "Next" button.
  7. Review the information on the next screen and click the "Next" button again.
  8. Windows will start the rollback process, which may take some time. Follow any additional on-screen instructions if prompted.
  9. Once the process is complete, your system will restart, and you should be back to Windows 10.

Hello, thank you for using Howly.
Tell me please, when you updated your system to Windows 11?

There is a 10-day period where you can move back to Windows 10 while keeping files and data.
