Nice to meet you, *****!
Are you opening the new Word file directly from 365 office?
No, I don't know how to do that, I guess.
I will guide you.
Ok
To do it: Sign in to Microsoft 365, go to your OneDrive library or team site, and then click the name of a Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, or PDF document. The document opens in your browser, in Office for the web. Office for the web also opens Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF attachments in Outlook Web App.
Sounds simple enough.
Please try it out.
Let me know when you are done.
I seem to be on the Just Answer page and not Microsoft 365?
Do you see that it it Just Answer page?
Yes
No worries, just sign in from HERE >>> https://www.office.com/
Ok. I can't get in. Apparently, I don't know my correct password
I see, click on the 'Forgot password?' option there to reset the password.
ok Sorry
No worries.
Did you reset it?
Ok. I reset it and got in and opened a New Document in Word. Now how do I save any such document on my computer?
To save it, open the document > Click FILE > Save, pick or browse to a folder, type a name for your document in the File name box, and click Save.
Okay. Thank you so very much for your help and, especially, your patience.
You're welcome!
I’m glad I was able to get that sorted out for you. Is there anything else I can assist you with today?
I don't think so, but thank you for offer. You've been great!
